A client will simply indicate the fundraiser name from the Fundraiser Options on the Pick-Up Request form when they schedule their pick-up.

We will personally ensure the funds go to the right place. We will write a check to each Fundraiser during the first week of each month.

How does SplitzEaze work?

It's simple! Bag up your empty cans and bottles and schedule a pickup online.

We come to you, load everything up, and write you a check on the spot for your share of the refund if you've chosen to split the money.

We put your check in an envelope in a plastic door hanger sleeve and hang it on your doorknob, so you don't even need to be home when we come. No lines, no hassle - just easy cash for your MI $0.10 Deposit Refund Bottles and Cans!

Do I need to count my cans and bottles?

Only if you want to.

We work on an honor system.

So if you count them, select "I Will Count" on the 'Who Counts' field on the Pick-Up Request form and enter the number in the form field provided.

If you want us to count them, indicate that on the 'Who Counts' field when you complete the Pick-Up Request form.

Either you trust us, or we trust you. You'll try to be accurate when counting and/or so will we.

We want, and surely you will want us to continue picking up your MI $0.10 returnables for years to come, not just once, so integrity is at the core.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of cans and bottles I can recycle?

Yes! We require a minimum of 150 cans and/or bottles per pick-up if you want us to split the deposit. That's $7.50 each, minimum.

If you do not want to split any refund of the returnables and you simply wish for us to do a "CONVENIENCE PICK-UP" for you to clear them out of your house and we do not pay you for them at all, we can pick up a minimum of 50 cans or bottles. (Basically 1 FULL garbage bag)

No! There's no maximum. If you have more than 500, just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

What types of cans and bottles do you accept?

We accept all Michigan deposit-eligible bottles and cans - that means aluminum, plastic, and glass beverage containers with a 10-cent refund. If it has a MI deposit label, we take it, no matter the store it has to go back to!

How do I schedule a pickup?

Just Use Our Pick-Up Request form by clicking "Schedule Your Pick-Up" and choose the day you want us to pick up, and we'll send you a confirmation email that you're on the schedule. It's quick, easy, and hassle-free.

How do I prepare my cans and bottles for pickup?

Place your bottles and cans in plastic garbage bags, tie them securely at the top. That's it! We'll take care of the rest.

How and when do I get paid?

We write you a check on the spot and put it in an envelope and hang it on your doorknob in a plastic doorhanger sleeve when we pick up your cans and bottles (If you've chosen to split the refund with us). No waiting, no guessing - you'll know exactly how much you're getting right away!

Where do you offer pick-up service?

We currently service Ann Arbor, Michigan, and surrounding areas of about a 20-mile radius. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, just reach out!

If we have interest in locations further out than our current pick-up area, it helps us to know that we can expand our service area, and that's not a bad thing :-)

How can I become a fundraiser?

Fill out the application on the Fundraiser page and we will look at your application. If you are approved, we will add you to the Fundraiser Dropdown on the Pick-Up Request form.

The community you promote your fundraiser to will select you as the recipient of their Split of the refund.

EXAMPLE:

If you are a school, tell the parents and students. Send home a flyer.

If you are a non-profit, tell your donors and/or put up a flyer or send an email to your list.

When will the fundraiser receive it's money?

We will mail a check to the fundraising organization during the first week of the month for all the money accumulated the previous month.
